Sharp objects - Gillian Flynn

Today I will be reviewing a book by Gillian Flynn titled Sharp Objects.

Sharp objects is a psychological thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat. It took me 48 hours to conclude this book because I was eager to know who committed the murder.

Gillian Flynn is an amazing author, I love how she invests her time in giving her readers a background knowledge of her characters. She tries to build a connection between her characters and her readers, it is like they all share one mind.

You get to understand a character and the reason behind his or her action, thus making it difficult to just pass a judgement.

Sharp objects is about a mysterious murder committed in the hometown of a journalist, the journalist is given an assignment to report the case, this makes her travel to her home town. I will stop here because I do not want to ruin the book for you.

Gillian Flynn took us through a journey and in the end, each character was justified, she did not leave us hanging. You do not have to figure out anything by yourself, you just have to be patient so you can discover the mystery behind this book.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I will rate the suspense a 7, because you have to be a patient reader to get to the climax of the book.

Finally, I advice you read this book with a open mind, do not be too judgmental because every action happened for a reason. It is an amazing book and I definitely recommend it.
